How to get TO BONDI
Bondi Beach is very well serviced by public transport with buses that will get you right down to the beach. Bondi Junction is the closest train station to Bondi Beach. This is the place where buses and trains link together. From the train station you will need to take a bus down to the beach.
If you’re traveling between Bondi Junction and Bondi Beach the buses you want are the 333, 380 or 381. You will need to stand at Stand A3 for the 333 and A1 for 380, 381 and 382.
It takes about 15 mins to get to Bondi Beach from Bondi Junction or you can walk which should take you about 45 mins.
The seats at the front of the bus are for elderly, pregnant or less mobile passengers. There are also three seats at the front of the bus for fitting wheelchairs and strollers. You can sit in these seats, but please vacate when a pregnant, elderly or disabled person or someone with a stroller gets on the bus.
Going into the city?
Catch the bus to Bondi Junction and then a train to the city. All trains leaving Bondi Junction go to the city. They leave about every 3-10 minutes from both platforms at the station. Town Hall station and Central Station are the best stations for you to jump off at if you need to transfer to other destinations.
Catching a plane?
Catch the train from Bondi Junction and transfer to the Airport station at Central.
Taxis stands are located on Campbell Pde across from the beach.
